WIRE MESH GABION BASKET SACK GABION gALVANIZED GABION SACK
Sack gabion is cylindrical bag woven by double twist hexagonal wire mesh. The wire of sack gabion is galfan, heavily galvanized, PVC coated or heavily galvanized plus PVC coated. Edge wire is thicker than the wire of mesh. It supplies with steel reinforcing wire inserted during the manufacturing process to facilitate closing during installation.
Seck Gebin has the advantages of strong impact resistance, strong integrity, corrosion resistance, good flexibility, and adaptability to river bed deformation. It is generally suitable for key and dangerous sections with deep water and rapid flow. On the turbulent inland rivers and on the banks of the Qiantang River where the currents are gentle and heavily affected by tidal floods, different construction techniques and processes are adopted to ensure the quality of the bank protection project.
Sack gabion is filled with rocks at the project site, then placed tightly one by one. The structure is similar to gabion basket flexible, permeable and monolithic structure. It can be used in emergency situation and river training, also provide defense from the erosion effect of water. Or it could be used as rocks transportation bag. On account of its flexible woven method and unfixed shape, it is hard to be cut off by rocks when place gabion sacks under water or on the bank of river. Therefore it is able to be filled and block sediment up under water.
Structure of sack gabions
The sack gabion has a solid and durable structure. The sack gabion consists of mesh wire, selvedge wire, lacing wire, reinforced wire and tie wire. The mesh wires are produced into a series of double twist hexagonal shapes sheet. Then the sheet will be wrapped by the thicker selvedge wire to form a reinforced cylindrical basket. And both end of the sack gabions will be added lacing wire, which is used to bind the gabion. There are reinforcing wires inserted when producing the sack gabion to facilitate closing during installation.
Installation of sack gabions
The sack gabion is commonly packed in flat sheet during transporting. When you use them, just unfold the gabion sheet and wrap one end of the sack gabion by lacing wires. Then throw the stones into the gabion cage by machine or workers. When the sack gabion is filled with stones, just wrap the other end of sack gabion by lacing wire.When installing, it should be take care that do not damage the galvanized layer and PVC coating.

- Galvanized is hot dipped galvanized. Thickness of galvanized layer can be manufactured according to customer's requirement, maximum can reach 300 g/m2.

Package of sack gabion
The sack gabion is commonly supplied in the bundles. The cylindrical cage is compressed and strapped together to form flat sheets. The sheets are packed into bundles for easy loading, handling, transporting and unloading.
The lacing wire is supplied in rolls, when you need them, just cut into you wanted length by pliers.
